Newton Stewart Firefighters were busy last Saturday in the Riverside Car Park in Newton Stewart doing their annual charity car wash in aid of the Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
Firefighters spokesman Dabby McCreadie said the day had raised around £430 for the charity.
The the firefighters charity is the leading provider of services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired firefighters, fire personnel and their families.
Over the years, they have helped hundreds of thousands of individuals by providing world-class treatment and support services. It costs over £9 million per year to keep the Charity running, and they are completely reliant upon donations and fundraising.
