Dance Galloway is holding a regional day of dance at the Ryan Centre on 13th September.
With a diverse range of free dance workshops throughout the day followed by IGNITE an evening of dance performances, there is something for everyone.
It’s a great day out for families with workshops for all ages, including Popdance with Emma Louise Dance Club and Health Play with Sara Lockwood MMM for kids in the morning.
With Strictly about to start on the telly, it’s time to get those hips moving and what better way than an introduction to Salsa run by Angela and Stephon Bishop of Galloway Dance or the Zumba Fitness class by Stranraer based Moira Adams & Denise Brawls.
For those looking some Contemporary or Traditional dance there’s a choreographic workshop led by Sarah Jackets and Historical Dance with Valerie Heppel from Dumfries Historical Dance Group.
And for something a little bit different why not join in Megan’s Gymtastic Display Class or Nia which takes inspiration from Martial Arts with Lucy Rose Donovan.
Have a fun night out for all the family come along to the evening performance, IGNITE with a wide range of movement styles from Cheerleading to Highland Dancing.
Including performances from Anne Errington, Margaret Morris Movement, Paula Herries School of Highland Dance, Emma Louise Dance Club, Sarah Jackets, Sara Lockwood and Al Collins, Kelly Whiteside, Stranraer Zumba, Inspire Youth Dance and the Blue Bombshells.
