Good food and glamorous hats were the order of the day at Penninghame Church Guild’s fundraising Ascot lunch.
People came along to indulge in delicious salads and desserts and to enjoy good company. There was also a competition for the best hat, to be judged by the minister.
After viewing a selection ranging from fascinators to hats worthy of the Royal enclosure, The Reverend Lyons employed his fashion sense and diplomacy, choosing a stylish top hat as the winner. Guild members would like to thank everyone who supported the occasion with their presence and kind donations, raising just over three hundred pounds.
