The group had a great adventure filled three days and the pupils really enjoyed all of the activities.

These included abseiling, canoeing, crate climbing, archery and raft building, to mention just a few!

As soon as the evenings came, it was time to turn on our torches, perform some drama and melt marshmallows over the camp fire whilst watching a talent show!

The group really enjoyed themselves, made closer friends and learned lots of new skills which had a focus on team building.

Abernethy Barcaple is one of our four of the charity’s adventure activity centres and is ideally sited for easy access to the 7stanes bike trails of Kirroughtree, Dalbeattie, Mabie and Ae and Loch Ken and the Solway coast are within easy reach.

The centre can accommodate 69 guests on site in dorm style cosy bunk bedded rooms and two lounges with open fires for guest use.
