The annual Scott McNicol Memorial Open is being held on Saturday October 24 with the headquarters in Castle Douglas.
Registration for this prestigious match is between 8-9am at Monty’s Bar, Castle Douglas.
It will be fished as an open rover with boundaries from Balcary Bay Hotel through to the lay-by at Creetown.
A terrific prize table for winners and juniors plus a mega raffle will take place at the match headquarters, Monty’s Bar at 7pm.
All proceeds will go towards the further training and development of the Scottish international junior and youth sections of the Scottish Federation of Sea Anglers.
Scott was a member of the international squads, winning gold at junior, youth and as a full senior at the Home Nations Shore Angling Championships.
