Nearly 30,000 people in Dumfries and Galloway are fully vaccinated
Almost 70 per cent of the region’s adult population have received their first Covid-19 vaccination.
Meanwhile, nearly a quarter have received their second dose.
A total of 86,689 first dose and 29,376 second dose vaccinations were delivered by end of April 6.
NHS Dumfries and Galloway chief executive Jeff Ace said: “Getting both doses helps provide everyone with the highest degree of protection against Covid-19.
"It also helps increase defences within our communities, and paves the way for moves towards something more like normal life."
Less than five new cases of Covid-19 were identified in the region for the week ending April 4 – down from 29 in the previous week.
