Employing a ranger marks a major milestone for the Loch Ken Trust

The position is offered on a self-employed basis and duties will include: to act as a positive, visible presence around Loch Ken and work with partners to encourage and promote responsible use of the loch.

The closing date is March 30 and details can be found at https://lochken.org.uk/job-opportunity.

Trust chairman Alan Smith said: “The current role is essentially a ‘proof of concept’ and assuming a visible difference is made then it is the intention that funding is sought for a full-time position.”
