Charles McEwan raised a complaint with Dumfries and Galloway Council, but it was dismissed as the “Relationship” material is approved by the Scottish Government.

Mr McEwan said: “What is being taught contains content that most parents would consider to be grossly unacceptable.

"It is sexually deviant and harmful to children, for example, it promotes the use of pornography and masturbation to primary school pupils and teaches about anal sex at secondary level.

"Parents can check it out for themselves at https://rshp.scot/ and I'm sure they’ll be shocked.”
