Appointments are going out over the next three weeks, with vaccinations taking place over a three-week period.

Currently 17,375 first dose vaccinations were delivered to at risk under 50s, and the move to start vaccinating the lower age brackets takes place in line with national directions.

As at April 26 a total of 89,012 first dose vaccinations have so far been delivered, representing 72.1 per cent of the adult population in Dumfries and Galloway

There have been 58,732 second doses, which means that 66 per cent of everyone who has been vaccinated to date has received both a first and second vaccination.
