Providing a backdrop for the decadents dresses, raunchy romances, and luxurious balls are several stunning filming locations, dotted across the UK. Here are some of the places that featured in the programme.
1. Holbourne Museum
Appearing as Lady Danbury’s estate, this 19th century house isn’t actually located in London, but in the historic city of Bath. The home was founded by Sir Thomas William Holbourne, and is now open to the public, featuring over 10,000 historic collection objects.
2. Rangers House
The exterior of the Bridgerton family’s mansion is actually Rangers House in Greenwich, south east London. The Georgian villa was owned by King George III’s sister, Princess Augusta.
3. Historic Dockyard Chatham
Making an appearance in the show during the dramatic boxing matches between Simon and Will, Kent’s Historic Dockyard Chatham features in several episodes. The dockyard was one of the UK’s most important ship building locations.
4. Wilton House
One of the most featured locations in the show, Wilton House plays host to garden parties and the Queen’s luxurious throne room. The house has been the seat of the Earls of Pembroke for over 400 years, and is still private, although some parts of it are open to the public.
