The Wigtownshire Foursomes was held at a well presented Stranraer Golf Club.

Well done to Tom and Jimmy Gibson from Dunskey Golf Club for winning with a very good round of 67.5. Three shots further back where Alec Johnstone and David McClymont from Newton Stewart. Third was Gibby Coultar and Iain Johnstone from County.

Fourth was Gerald Baillie and Neville Wright from Stranraer with Connor Bennewith and Scot Whannell fifth.

The team trophy was won by Dunskey Golf Club.

Thanks to all prize winners that turned up to the prize giving, all 40 pairs that entered and to Stranraer Golf Club for hosting the event. The Scratch league trophy was also presented on the day to this years winners Newton Stewart and the ‘B’ league trophy presented to Stranraer.

The Wigtownshire Seniors League standings after three rounds have Stranraer on the top of the table with two wins and draw followed closely by Newton Stewart and then County. But with two rounds to go everything is still to play for as Stranraer host St Medan next Monday. Newton are also at home against Wigtown & Bladnoch and Wigtownshire County travel to Dunskey.
