Wigtownshire Bowling Association

Players from the Wigtownshire Bowling Association travelled to Dumfries to play Dumfriesshire in the first game of the 2016 County Championships.

After five ends - Wigtownshire 21 Dumfriesshire 35; after 10 ends 49 -56; after 15 ends 77 -80 and after 18 ends 96 - 92. In the last three ends played across the green, Wigtownshire scored eight shots but Dumfries scored 28 shots to win the match 121 to 104.

Wigtownshire play Ayrshire South at Sandhead Bowling Green on Saturday. The following players report to the green for 1.15pm.
