Report by John McNaught

In the Challenge Cup match at Meadow Park Threave’s Greig Goodwin was both saint and sinner when he scored an own goal with a header after sixteen minutes play in the Castle Douglas side’s match against South League leaders Wigtown and Bladnoch.

Goodwin headed the equaliser fourteen minutes from time but unfortunately for the home side the visitors came back through Jamie McHarrie in the 84th minute to seal a place in the semi-final stage.

In the final match of the season in the South of Scotland League Nithsdale and Crichton drew two all at Sanquhar.
