Schools Cross Country at Bladnoch

Over 300 primary school children from the Machars took part in the annual cross country challenge in Bladnoch Park recently. The children had the choice of competing in the Have A Go Half Mile, a Hilly Half Mile or the Michty Mile over the fields at Bladnoch. The event finished with an inter-school relay for some friendly rivalry between the school taking part. All the competitors received a Machars Cross Country badge afterwards.

Full results will appear in a future edition of The Galloway Gazette.
