Proud grandad watches Olympic curling granddaughter going for gold

Sandy Adams from the Grange of Bladnoch farm near Kirkcowan has been glued to the telly this week watching granddaughter Vicki curling for Team GB at the Olympics.

Sandy spoke to Galloway Gazette reporter Louse Kerr just before settling down to watch Vicki play in GB’s semi final against Canada on Wednesday morning. He explained that 24-year-old Vicki was a member of the ‘Adams family curling dynasty’ as her uncle and sister are also international champions.
