Scores of 12-21 year olds turned out to play in a memorial football tournament in Minnigaff on organised by local youth workers which kicked off on Friday in memory of Kieran Currie who was killed on the A75 in the summer.

Kieran’s friends and family attended with some playing and some just spectating, but the turn-out was staggering in memory of the 19-year old who was struck by a lorry after a night out.
