Loch Ryan Sea Angling Association

On Saturday 21st September the fishing was pegged at the Grennan Woods near Drummore. Thirty anglers attended this match and fished a dropping tide into darkness. There were plenty of fish showing on most of the pegs with the main species being mackerel and dogfish.

Sunday 22nd September saw another 30 anglers travelling out to fish Lighthouse point in Cairnryan. This can be a difficult venue to fish at times due to the rough ground but usually produces some decent sport. Again the old faithful, mackerel and dogfish, were caught by some of the anglers.

Best Lochryan angler over the 2 days was Kevin Hamilton.
