The weather was once again the winner last Saturday with all the matches eventually being beaten by the weather. Three matches looked like they would go ahead but a heavy period of rain around lunchtime out paid to the matches at Blairmount Park between Newton Stewart and Creetown and the one at Trammondford Park between Wigtown and Bladnoch and St Cuthbert Wanderers which was postponed for the fifth time. However the match at Meadow Park between Threave Rovers and Abbey Vale did go ahead but had to be abandoned after thirty five minutes play for the safety of the players as the weather overhead became very wet and the playing surface deteriorated. At that time the home side were leading by a goal to nil through Danny Dunglinson but the league match will now have to be replayed at a later date.
