PORT William schoolgirl Emily Cleer had the time of her life last Saturday when she was one of the mascots for the Scotland rugby team.
The rugby mad 11-year-old also came home with a very unusual souvenir of the day - the socks that had been worn by Max Evans during the Calcutta Cup game against England!
Another thrill for young Emily was having a chat with Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond, who spoke to the mascots while they were waiting in tunnel before the game.
After the game, which Scotland lost 13-6, all the mascots had the opportunity to meet some of the players and get some autographs and photos.
