Railway Inn Darts League

Last week the players had a break from the league with the annual Baccy Murray trophy being contested, despite some doubters about the competition being held on a Wednesday night it proved to be a great success with 28 players turning up on the night, seven more than last year.

After some tight games we came down to the final four - Doit Kiltie against Jim McCulloch and Craig Martin against Richard Chartlesworth.

RESULTS

Doit 0 Jim 4; Craig 1 Richard 4.

Both games were a lot closer than the scorlines suggest.

In the final it was Richard who prevailed beating Jim by 5 legs to 3.

Thanks to all players who turned up on the night and made it such a success, to Liz and Alec in the Railway for providing food for the players and to Mary and Izzy for selling raffle tickets which raised £154 for the senior citizens summer outing.
