WHITHORN Bravehearts travelled to Kilbirnie last weekend with five young boxers from their development squad.

They took part in a boxing skills demonstration before the main show in Kilbirnie’s famous Walker Hall.

All five of the boxers are under 11 years old and have been training for several months.

Coach Wullie Martin said: “The boys are doing great, showing true grit and determination, using a variety off punches and movement our home show is only seven weeks away and the boxers are progressing well.”

Due to increased numbers of boxers in the development class on a Monday and Thursday evening in Whithorn New Town Hall, Team Braveheart are looking for more volunteers to help with training.

Anyone looking to get involved please contact Tom jolly on 07711901089. All coaching courses and certificates can be provided.
