Home advantage should count

There are four South of Scotland League matches scheduled to be played this Saturday.

The home teams look favourites to take the points in each of the contests.

Heston Rovers entertain Dumfries neighbours Lochar Thistle at Palmerston Park and although this match could well be close Heston should take the three points. However, they may well have to be at their best to do so.

Newton Stewart play hosts to Fleet Star at Blairmount Park and again although the home side may not find it easy they need to take the three points from these matches to keep any championship hopes alive.

St Cuthbert Wanderers are at home to Mid-Annandale and again should take the points to keep their league ambitions on track.

League favourites Wigtown and Bladnoch play Crichton at Trammondford Park and although the Hospital Park side are expected to give their all, the home side should take the points to put them back on the top of the table.
