Ferrytoon FC held their annual awards presentation at Auchenlarie on Friday night.
This summer, the team won the Stewartry Sunday Amateur League for the first time in 25 years and manager Eddie McGaw was thrilled to lift the title after taking over from his late dad.
Lifting trophies on Friday, all the team were honoured but a few were singled out for their contribution over the season.Player of the year went to Kenny Allan with manager’s player of the year and young player of the year going to Kieran Jolly.
Top scorer was Matt Burton with most improved player being awarded to Stuart Mactier. And Jamie russell lifted runner-up for player of the year.
Eddie said it had been a memorable season and he and the team were looking forward to next year already.
