Portpatrick Dunskey players dominated the South of Scotland championship played at Southerness on Sunday, with the championship going to David Brodie for the second time.
The 29-year-old, who won in 2005, won despite wind and rain.
Brodie, of Portpatrick Dunskey, shot rounds of 72 and 74 to lift the title with a 36-hole total of 146.
Brodie said: “It’s a wee while since I won this title. It’s the best of my career to win this and I’m absolutely delighted. It was tough out there.”
Runner-up was Matthew McCulloch, a Scottish under-16 internationalist also from Portpatrick Dunskey, who shot rounds of 75 and 74.
The South of Scotland matchplay championship will be played at Southerness this Saturday and Sunday, August 24 and 25.
