CURLER Vicki Adams will be hoping to add to her burgeoning medal tally when play starts tomorrow in the World Junior Curling Championships 2011 at Perth Ice Rink.
Twenty-one-year old Vicki, from the Lochans, is playing second in the rink skipped by Olympian Eve Muirhead. The other members of the team are Anna Sloan and Riann Macleod. Vicki has won the world junior title twice before playing with Eve and she hopes to make it three world titles by next weekend. She is certainly in the form of her life having won the Scottish Junior title, the Scottish title and the gold medal at the World University Olympics - all since the turn of the year.
The girls start on another gold trail tomorrow afternoon with their first round-robin game against Norway. They will then play France, Switzerland, USA, Czech Republic, Sweden, Japan, Russia and Canada before hopefully progressing to the final stages.
