ENTRIES are at record levels for tomorrow's big mountain bike event at Kirroughtree, organisers revealed this week.

The event is the second in the Benromach Three Tens Series of endurance cross-country mountain bike events.
In 2007, 326 mountain bike riders of all abilities and skill levels took part in this challenging event.
In 2008 entries for the event, t
o be staged at the jewel in the crown of Forestry Commission Scotland's 7stanes mountain bike centres, have hit 350 and organisers No Fuss Events believe as many as 50 people will sign up at the last-minute for this legendary event.
No Fuss are keen to fill the event with riders of all skill levels and abilities with registration open right up to race day.
The Benromach Three Tens Series is run on an endurance format with participants riding solo or in relay teams of two, three or four to see who can complete the most laps of a 10 mile course in a gruelling 10 hours.
The events are not just an out and out race but are meant to be an inclusive and fun challenge for riders of all ages and skill levels.
They give all riders over the age of 16, from recreational and elite to off road riders and weekend warriors, an opportunity to get on their bikes, ride great courses with loads of like minded people and have a good time in a fun and relaxed environment.
Frazer Coupland, from No Fuss Events, added: "Don't worry if you don't look good in Lycra, No Fuss events are all about taking part in a hobby that we all enjoy. Competition is up to the individual. For us it's more about taking part, riding a great course with loads of like-minded people and having a good time."

l Other info: No Fuss Events are also delighted to announce that they have teamed up with Bike Academy to offer free mountain bike skills sessions on Friday (11 July) evening for Minis (under 11's) and Majors (under 18's):

Duncan Shaw, a mountain bike trials rider and a member of the GB World championships team in 2007, will wow the crowds with his amazing trials display on Saturday afternoon.
The Dangleberries will play in the evening and give riders and spectators a final chance to get a final workout done.
Massage facilities will be available throughout the event in the event arena.
The Brake Pad and Castle Douglas Bikes are available to meet all running repair needs.
There will be an awesome barbecue as the race draws to a close on Saturday evening.
Galloway Forest Park, near Newton Stewart, is famous for its stunning sections of fast flowing, technical singletrack, low gear uphills, water crossings, technical ascents and descents and fire roads.
Having proved its reputation in 2007 there is a real excitement in the mountain bike community about the unveiling of the 2008 event route. No Fuss has been working closely with Forestry Commission Scotland to ensure that some new natural sections will make the course even better than last year.
