Presentation night for domino league

FRIDAY evening saw the 21st presentation evening for Newton Stewart & District Domino League held in the Barholm Arms in Creetown.

League Chairman, John Glazer thanked all for their attendance, with particular mention for Donald, Pearl, Alex & Carol-Anne for their assistance throughout the domino season.
Other thanks were for league sponsor John Sharples of Creebridge Caravan Site and Panny Watson of the Barholm Arms, mine host of the Barholm Arms.
The league results were as follows:-
The Doubles winners were Sue and Buzby from the Harbour Inn, Garlieston.
Runner up were Shona and Calvin from the Old Toll House, Newton Stewart
The Singles winner was Andy from the Crown, Newton Stewart.
Runner up was Johnny Burnett from the Central, Newton Stewart.
The League Shield winners were Barholm 'A' from Creetown.
The runner up was the Steam Packet, Isle of Whithorn.
Division 2 winners were the Railway Inn from Whithorn
The runner up was Barholm 'B' from Creetown.
Division 1 winners were Barholm 'A' from Creetown.
The runner up was the Harbour Inn, Garlieston.
