ONE woman has been charged with murder and a man charged with perverting the course of justice following the death of a man in Cairnryan on Christmas Day.
Christina Mary Dane Slooves or Biggar, 55, from Cairnryan, appeared before the court on Thursday charged with murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice after the death of 65-year old George Potts in Cairnryan on Christmas Day . She made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
James Potts, 62, from Ballantrae also appeared before the court charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice. He made no plea or declaration and was also remanded in custody.
The pair are due to appear again on 4 January.
