STRANRAER Music Town are bringing a Scottish legend to their shores and The Galloway Gazette is offering you the chance to win a pair of tickets to go and see him and his band in action.

From his days as lead singer with Runrig to the present day fronting his own band, Donnie Munro has thrilled audiences far and wide with his unique voices and style.

Today, from the Runrig back catalogue to more traditional songs penned by Donnie himself, audiences continue to be captivated. Some songs are presented in English, some in Gaelic and you will also, no doubt, be treated to Donnie’s usual anecdotes and stories on stage.

His talented band comprises Foss Paterson/Allan Cuthbertson, Morph Dobie, Chaz Stewart, Jim Drummond and Dougie Coulter. Each of these musicians is exceptional in his own field and has a wealth of musical experience.

And on February 15, he and his band will visit The Ryan Centre for a mesmerising concert, with tickets just £20 plus booking fee.
