The Galloway Gazette and the Glaisnock Cafe in Wigtown have teamed up to offer readers the chance to win a slap-up meal for two.
Now under new management, the Glaisnock Cafe has been renovated and extended to incorporate the local literary theme of Wigtown as Scotland’s Book Town.
The lucky winner of our great competition will be able to enjoy a three course meal for two any lunchtime.
The Glaisnock now has a new relaxing “cosy cafe” area, including leather sofas and stools. The cafe is open Monday to Saturday from 9-5pm.
Using locally-sourced meats, seasonal salads and vegetables, customers can enjoy home cooking, including breakfasts, main meals and a range of delicious paninis, toasties, soups and snacks throughout the day.
And the Glaisnock’s scones and cakes are all baked fresh on a daily basis. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.
New owners Stephanie and Carl Davis invite you to call in and enjoy their delicious Thomsons of Glasgow flame roasted filtered coffee, freshly ground from beans on a daily basis. It is the perfect place to drink, eat and relax!
To win a three-course meal for two, simply answer this question: Which firm supplies the Glaisnock with its coffee? Send your answers to Glasnock Competition, The Galloway Gazette, 71 Victoria Street, Newton Stewart, DG8 6NL, or email it to email@example.com, putting Glaisnock Competition in the subject line before June 28.
