FOLLOWING the success of last year’s campaign giving you FREE entry to Monreith Animal World, The Galloway Gazette has once again teamed up with the one of the Machars’ best attractions to let you in without paying a penny.
All you have to do is take along your copy of the Gazette (no photocopies accepted) showing this article and you’ll be given free access to the huge range of animals in a 12-acre area including a pondside walk with picnic tables, toilets, a shop and refreshments.
The park is also offering you the chance to win £50 in their “Name the Donkey” competition, due to be drawn on October 1. As you can see from our photograph, the baby donkey is a real star at the park this year.
But the miniature donkeys are just some of the animals available to see. There are also owls, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, chipmunks, chinchillas, aviary birds, ducks, geese and many more.
Make the most of the late summer with a visit to the park … but don’t forget to take your Gazette along with you.
