The fourth annual Wear it Pink night in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign was held recently at Wigtownshire Rugby Club in Stranraer.

Guest appearances were made by the iCandy Butlers Iain and Dan, who were a huge hit with the girls! MPH provided the music and they weren’t put off in the slightest by the fact it was an all-female event. The party was held, as usual, on Wear it Pink Day and the national theme this year was Superheroes.

Huge effort was put into outfits, with Emma Young winning the Best Superhero Award. Once again the organisers were overwhelmed by the support of family, friends, everyone who came on the night and local businesses for an event which is aimed at raising breast cancer awareness.

Last year’s total has been smashed as this year’s event raised around £2000.
