Thieves hit hotel and office buildings

Police Scotland is investigating a break in to the Ploughman Hotel in Wigtown at around 11.30pm on Sunday 26 April.

Around £3000 in cash and a large quantity of alcohol including bottles of spirits and cases of beer with a value of around £1,800 were stolen in the raid. Police want to trace two males, around 18 - 25 years of age and a third male, about 12 years of age, all of whom were wearing dark coloured hooded tops who were seen in the area around this time.

In another break in, the office premises of an industrial unit at Fountain Way, Blackparks Industrial Estate, Stranraer, were broken into overnight on Sunday 26/Monday 27 April.

Nothing appears to have been taken in this incident however damage was caused in the process.
