Crichton move into second place on the league last Saturday when they defeated Dumfries YMCA by two goals to nil. Their goals came from Shane Watson after twenty two minutes and a second half strike from Clarke Chambers.

Creetown recorded a very good victory over neighbours Newton Stewart by three goals to nil with their goals coming from Matthew Deazly and ex Newton players John Morrison and Stewart Taylor.

Abbey Vale gained revenge over Lochar Thistle in a three goals to two victory with first half goals from Cairns giving them a half time lead. Keiran Kreuse pulled one back for the home side. Ten minutes after the break Jack Connelly sent Vale further ahead and although Kreuse scored a second for Lochar they could not produce an equaliser. They had the chance from the penalty spot with five minutes to go, Buttock Mcgauchie failed to find the net when keeper Darren Holt saved.

In the first round of the League Cup Fleet Date went ahead in their match against Mid Annandale through Ross Hunter, but goals from Nathan Muir and Sean Dunbar saw the Lockerbie team progress.

Upper Annandale beat Nithsdale Wanderers by the odd goal in five while in the second round at Cuthbert, Wanderers were well beaten by Edusport in a four goals to one defeat. Wigtown went through at the expense of Heston Rovers by winning by six goals to five after extra time.
