High tides and storm surges hit Galloway yet again on Saturday morning, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.
Port William’s harbour took a beating for the second time since early January and Kirkcudbright Harbour’s picnic area was left five feet under water.
The area’s other port were also engulfed by the rapidly rising tide, undoing much of the work carried out to rectify damage caused just a matter of weeks ago.
Police issued travel warnings throughout the day and many coastal routes were impassable after boulders and branches were strewn across them.
