Last month Garlieston and Sorbie Pupils took part in Keep Scotland Beautiful, working towards their mandatory ‘litter section’ of the Eco Schools project.

Garlieston pupils decided to clean up the local beach as they had noticed quite a lot of litter when they went shark tagging a few months ago and Sorbie pupils decided to clean up their local park. Both clean ups were a great success and the pupils were shocked at just how much was collected from these areas.

Next year the pupils hope to take part in the same project again and compare results.
