Robson Pereira appears in court charged with assault and rape

The owner of a Galloway equestrian centre appeared on petition in Dumfries Sheriff Court on Friday charged with 23 offences including rape, sexual assault, assault and lewd and libidinous behaviour.

Forty-nine year old Robson Pereira, from Kirkclaugh near Gatehouse, made no plea or declaration and was granted bail. The case was continued for further examination and the accused with appear again in court at a further diet.
