Police hunt tool thief

Police Scotland is making enquiries into further tool thefts in the region over past few days.

A workshop at a house in Main Street in Kirkinner was broken into sometime overnight Wednesday 4/Thursday 5 February 2015.

Two Husqvarna chainsaws, a Paslode nail gun and a 9” grinder were stolen in the raid. The value of the property is around £750.

In another theft an ELKHA make pressure washer and a blue coloured compressor were stolen from a shed at a farm at Laigh Cairn, Kirkconnel, sometime between Tuesday 3 and Thursday 5 February 2015.

The value of the two items is around £300.
