Vandalism – Kirkcudbright

Sometime between 1300 hours on Thursday 24 and 0900 hours on Friday 25 March 2011 a window at a house in Castlemains, Kirkcudbright was smashed.

Theft – Stranraer

Police want to trace the following three men after a sum of cash in excess of £5000 was stolen from the house of an 89 year old man in Main Street in Stoneykirk, Stranraer, sometime on the afternoon of Friday 25 March 2011. The men purported to work for a drainage company and had allegedly being doing work at the house. When they left the theft was discovered. The men are described as follows. (1) Male, appeared to be called David 5’ 2” tall, average build, about 30 ish, light brown hair normal length, had an Ayrshire accent. (2) 5’ tall, slight build, about 50 ish, grey hair and spoke with an Ayrshire accent. (3) No description.

Hit and Run Crash – Castle Douglas

A Yamaha 125 motor cycle was struck and damaged by a vehicle which failed to stop after the crash while it was parked in Queen Street, Castle Douglas sometime shortly after 1800 hours on Saturday 26 March 2011.

Vandalism – Castle Douglas

A Land Rover Defender was vandalised while parked in Laurel Bank Terrace in Castle Douglas sometime overnight Sunday 27/Monday 28 March 2011.

Theft – Gatehouse of Fleet

Two boxes of sweets, one Mars Bars and the other Snickers and a box of juice have been stolen from Gatehouse Golf Club sometime between Friday 25 and Monday 28 March 2011.
