Hit and Run Crash – Castle Douglas

A red coloured Mazda 2 car has been struck and damaged by a vehicle which failed to stop after the crash while it was parked in Academy Street in Castle Douglas sometime between 1300 hours and 1700 hours on Friday 25 February 2011.

Assault – Newton Stewart

Police are investigating an assault on a 26 year old man in the Crown Hotel in Newton Stewart around 0100 hours on Sunday 27 February 2011. The attackers are believed to be three women, not further described, who assaulted the man both inside and outside the premises. The man received a bleeding nose and bruising to his face as a result of the attack.

Vandalism – Portpatrick

A house in Main Street, Portpatrick has been vandalised by using a heavy duty pen on the wall of the house sometime on the evening of Friday 25 February 2011.

Vandalism – Whithorn

A red coloured Peugeot 205 motor car has been vandalised while parked in George Street in Whithorn sometime between 1630 hours on Sunday 27 and 0845 hours on Monday 28 February 2011.

Vandalism – Glenluce

A silver coloured Jeep Cherokee and a grey Toyota 300 C Tourer have been vandalised while parked in Main Street, Glenluce, sometime between Friday 25 and Monday 28 February 2011.

Hit and Run Crash – Kirkcudbright

A blue/grey coloured Peugeot car was struck and damaged by a vehicle which failed to stop after the crash while it was parked opposite the Bay Hotel in St Cuthbert’s Street in Kirkcudbright, sometime between 0905 hours and 0925 hours on Thursday 24 February 2011.
