Police appeal after Annan crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road crash near Annan in which four people suffered serious injuries.

The incident on the B724 at 4.15pm on Friday involved a Vauxhall Corsa and Skoda Fabia.

The two drivers and one passenger from each vehicle were taken to Dumfries Infirmary where their conditions were described as “serious but stable”.

Police are particularly keen to speak to a lorry driver who stopped to help.
