Moderator’s visit continues

THE Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Right Reverend Albert Bogle, is continuing his visit to the Presbytery of Wigtown and Stranraer this weekend.

Today he will visit the Mull of Galloway lighthouse and the RSPB centre before lunching in the Callie Craig restaurant before walking along the new trail at the Mull.

Tomorrow the Moderator and his wife will lunch at Mochrum Manse before visiting Glenluce Abbey. In the evening there will be a concert with the “Bogle Band’ at St Ninian’s Priory in Whithorn. On Sunday when the Moderator preaches at the 50th anniversary of Sandhead Parish Church. On Tuesday, the Moderator visited Newton Stewart Hospital where he presented Monigaff elder John Burnett with a certificate to mark 30 years with the church.
