A MOCHRUM man and his daughter recently completed the London Marathon for the kids charity, Whizz-Kidz.

Mac McLeod, 61, and his 34-year old daughter Donna, who now lives in Derby, managed to make it to the end of the notoriously gruelling 26.2-mile course in seven and a half hours to raise cash for the great children’s charity having been inspired by his disabled granddaughter, Amy.

Even a painful hip injury didn’t stop him and with the help of a few painkillers, the pair crossed the line triumphantly, having raised over £1,500 so far.
