Man punched over debts

A Whithorn man who punched the father of a man who allegedly owed him money was given a community payback order of 150 hours at the court in Stranraer.

Twenty two year-old Anthony Woolley, of 14 St Ninian’s Crescent, Whithorn, admitted punching the man in St Ninian’s Crescent, Whithorn on Janaury 14. Defence agent Paul Feeney said the accused was “fed up” over the unpaid debt and had “lost his temper”.
