Young man in hospital following Drummore crash

A 20-YEAR old man has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after crashing his blue Vauxhall Corsa near Drummore.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which occured on the A716 Cornerhouse to Drummore Road just south of Drummore, at 8.15pm last night.

The man sustained serious facial and head injuries in the collision. He was taken to Galloway Community Hospital before being transferred to Glasgow. His current condition is described as serious but stable.

Anyone who was travelling in the area around the time of the incident or witnessed the blue Vauxhall Corsa prior to the collision is asked to contact police on 0845 600 5701 or any police officer. Information can also be left anonymously with Crimestoppers.
