Woman denies assault

A WIGTOWN woman has denied assaulting another woman and throwing a glass bottle at a man in a Newton Stewart pub.

Kimberley Turner, 22, of Beddie Crescent, pleaded not guilty to pulling Elizabeth Connor by the hair in the Central Bar on March 11.

She is also alleged to have thrown a bottle at John McCulloch, which hit him on the head.

She will stand trial on November 29.
