UK’s longest Zip Wire approved
Laggan Outdoor has secured planning permission for the UK’s longest Zip Wire.
Building has started on what is going to be an amazing Zip Wire experience, taking off from the top of a rocky hill overlooking the picturesque Fleet Estuary. Laggan Zippers will be propelled down a whopping 820 metres – it’s a must do for adventure lovers.
Based near Gatehouse of Fleet on what has been the family farm for more than 100 years, Laggan Outdoor is an activity centre with a highly trained team, offering recreational and adventure activities for all the family. From clay pigeon shooting, archery, grass sledging and team-building to the more adventurous mountain balling (aka Zorbing), mountain boarding and Segway Adventure Tours.
Duncan McConchie, director of Laggan Outdoor, said: “At more than £100,000, this is our biggest business investment to date. We are confident that, even in the current climate, the Zip Wire experience will attract and thrill people from all over. The Laggan Zip Wire will appeal to adrenaline-junkies, active family groups and companies looking for a unique team building challenge.”
