Trust hosts local assembly

Conservation charity, the National Trust for Scotland, today announced its programme for its very first local assembly in the South West.

The Trust’s South West Local Assembly is being held at Threave Estate near Castle Douglas on Monday 29 October and is one of a series of regular events being held around the country for Trust members and anyone with an interest in Scotland’s heritage, history and built and natural environments.

The assembly takes place from 11am and is free to attend, although there is an £8 charge for lunch. Anyone who wishes to book a place should call 0844 493 2100 or e-mail localassemblies@nts.org.uk
