MISSING Stranraer man, Carlus McNicoll, is yet to be traced according to police this week.

Unconfirmed rumours that the Glasgow Nautical College student had been in touch with family were quashed by the force this week, who claim they are still appealing for information on the 24-year old who vanished from a Stena ferry which departed from Cairnryan on January 8.

Carlus is 5’7” tall, of slim build and was wearing a dark tracksuit top with a white hood, dark trousers and a green baseball cap when he was last seen.
