Sorbie fire causes injury

ONE person was injured in a house fire in Sorbie on Friday night.

Crews from both Whithorn and Newton Stewart attended the fire at St John’s Place and found the injured person outside.

They tackled the blaze - which caused severe damage to the living room and smoke damage to the rest of the house - for over two and a half hours.
